When the young page Cantalot refuses to prepare for knighthood, his parents, the Lord and Lady of the Kingdom, summon some royal help. But what happens when a famous Jousting Tutor, a renowned Catapult Coach and the Grandest Wizard in the land all fail at their attempts to teach and reach the young page? Could it be young  Cantalot has no burning desire to become a knight in shining armor?   Or is something bigger holding him back?
